Team Hornady® Shooters Dominate at the 2025 SMM3G 3-Gun Match
Grand Island, NE — Team Hornady® congratulates sponsored shooters Dillen Easley and Jared Milinazzo for their performance at the 2025 Superstition Mountain Mystery 3-Gun Match, March 15-16, 2025, in Mesa, Arizona.
Easley used Hornady 223 Remington 73 gr. ELD® Match ammunition in his rifle and Hornady 9mm 125 gr. HAP® bullets loaded in his 9mm pistol to win the Stealth 3-Gun Division. While Milinazzo used Hornady 223 Remington 73 gr. ELD® Match ammunition in his rifle and Hornady 9mm 115 gr. HAP® bullets for pistol to take the 2nd Place spot in the Stealth 3-Gun Division.
“The 2025 SMM3G match had a stacked field of nearly 350 competitors.” said Easley. “What helped me secure the top spot was the consistency of my ammo. Knowing my equipment performs allows me to focus on executing my stage plan,” he added.
Carefully selected components ensure uniformity and are loaded to exacting specifications to provide pinpoint accuracy. Each cartridge is loaded with either Hornady® A-MAX® bullets, our high-performance boattail hollow points, or the new, radically superior ELD® Match bullets. Stringent quality control ensures proper bullet seating, consistent charges and pressures, optimal velocity, consistent overall length and repeatable accuracy.
Modeled after the legendary XTP® bullet design, HAP bullets are further refined into the perfect competition projectile. While XTP bullets use serrations to aid in controlled expansion and terminal performance, HAP bullets feature a sleek and balanced projectile with a protected nose that aids in consistent and reliable feeding in auto loading pistols.
