Grand Island, NE — Hornady® is proud to announce that the Water Environment Federation (WEF) Award & Recognitions Committee has selected Hornady Manufacturing Company as the 2023 recipient of the Industrial Water Quality Achievement Award.

“Working with the Nebraska Water Environment Association and the City of Grand Island Wastewater Treatment Plant, we were nominated for this prestigious award,” said Dallas Powell, Hornady Environmental Compliance Manager. “We are the first industry in Nebraska to earn this award and it shows our dedication to being good stewards of our environment, and to the continued growth of our manufacturing capacity,” she added.

The Industrial Water Quality Achievement Award is presented to a corporation that best demonstrates significant, lasting, and measurable excellence in water quality improvement or in the prevention of water quality degradation as demonstrated by innovative design and operation of an industrial wastewater, pretreatment or source prevention program.
