Grand Island, NE — Hornady® congratulates Doug Koenig, Austin Orgain, Dave Preston, Phillip Velayo and Rick Reeves on their performance at the 2021 Hornady Precision Rifle Challenge, July 9-10, 2021, in Evanston, Wyoming.

Koenig took first place in the Production Division shooting Hornady 6mm 110 gr. A-Tip® bullets. “This match is one of the toughest in the country and on day one, we experienced 35 mph winds,” said Koenig. “I am unbelievably impressed with how well the A-Tip bullets handle wind and I can’t imagine shooting any other bullet!” Koenig added.

Teammate Austin Orgain placed 2nd overall and Dave Preston took 10th overall, both shooting Hornady 6mm 110 gr. A-Tip bullets. Phillip Velayo won the Nightforce PRS Skills Stage and Rick Reeves took Top Senior, both also shooting the 6mm 110 gr. A-Tip.
