Team Hornady® Shooters Murphy and Hamilton Win Vortex Team Sniper Challenge
Grand Island, NE — Hornady® congratulates Sean Murphy and Greg Hamilton on their performance at the 2021 Vortex Optics Team Sniper Challenge, February 26-28 in Ellerbe, North Carolina.
Murphy and Hamilton shot Hornady 6mm 110 gr. A-Tip® and 22 cal. 90 gr. A-Tip bullets in the two-day precision rifle competition.
“This match had a lot of shooting and decision making in relatively short windows of time” said Murphy. “Running high BC, accurate A-Tip bullets helped us stay on target fighting through unpredictable winds.”
A-Tip® Match bullets feature an aluminum tip that’s precision machined and longer than polymer tips, that moves the center of gravity and enhances inflight stability, resulting in tighter groups and reduced drag variability. In addition, A-Tip bullets are sequentially packaged for the ultimate in consistent performance.
