Team Hornady Excels at Pigg River PRS Match
Grand Island, NE — Hornady® congratulates team members Doug Koenig and Mark Cooper on their performance at the Pigg River Precision Match, June 5 in Rocky Mount, Virginia.
Koenig took first place in the Production Division shooting Hornady 6mm 110 gr. A-TIP™ Match bullets. “When shooting steel targets from 300-1,200 yards, your equipment needs to be spot on” said Koenig. “That’s why I trust Hornady bullets when competing” Koenig added.
Cooper won the Tactical Division shooting Hornady 30 Cal. 176 gr. A-TIP™ Match bullets. “I’m truly amazed at the consistency of A-TIP bullets” said Cooper. “With the amount of sure force on target, I now feel I have an advantage above open shooters” Cooper added.
A-TIP™ Match bullets feature an aluminum tip that’s precision machined and longer than polymer tips. That moves the center of gravity and enhances inflight stability, resulting in tighter groups and reduced drag variability. In addition, A-Tip™ bullets are sequentially packaged for the ultimate in consistent performance.
