Grand Island, NE – Starting August 15, 2016, Hornady® will offer a free box of Critical Defense® ammunition with the purchase of a Hornady Security® RAPiD® Safe. Products included in the Safe & Secure^SM promotion are the new RAPiD® Safe 2600 and 2700 (Items 98175 and 98170), as well as the original RAPiD® Safe (Item 98150).

Hornady RAPiD® Safes feature patent pending RFID technology for fast, touch-free entry. When the RFID wristband, key fob or adhesive decal is placed over the reader, the safe springs open for easy access. All safes are designed to exceed ASTM International safety standards for child and pry resistance and are listed by the California Department of Justice as an approved firearm safety device.

Consumers must send for their free Critical Defense® ammo with an official redemption form available from retailers or at hornady.com. Calibers include 380 Auto, 9mm Luger, 38 Special, 38 Special+P, 357 Mag, 40 S&W, and 45 Auto.
