Hornady® is proud to support the 2015 State Games of America (SGA), July 28 – Aug. 2 in Lincoln and Omaha Nebraska, as an official corporate partner.

This biennial multi-sport festival is expected to draw more than 18,000 participants, including 12,000 Nebraskans who are automatically eligible. Out-of-state participants must qualify in most events by receiving a medal in their local state games event in 2013 or 2014.

There will be 10 shooting events at the 2015 SGA, including .22 Rifle Prone, .22 Rifle Silhouette, Adult Trap & Skeet, BB Gun & Air Rifle/Pistol Biathlon, High Power Benchrest, High Power Rifle, Junior High/High School Trap, Muzzleloading, Pistol, and Sporting Clays.

"We're thrilled to be a corporate sponsor of the 2015 SGA, the largest Olympic-style sports festival in the United States. It's a great opportunity to support athletic excellence, especially in shooting sports," Communications Manager Neal Emery said. "We wish the best of luck to all participating athletes!"

With 60+ sports, SGA 2015 offers opportunities for amateur athletes of all ages and abilities. The motivation and training that accompany competition are key components of our wellness objectives. But our commitment to wellness is evident throughout the State Games of America, from special events connected to the games to the sense of involvement and accomplishment experienced by SGA 2015 volunteers.

With an Olympic-style Opening Ceremonies July 31 at Memorial Stadium and Athlete Villages in Lincoln and Ralston open to the public July 30 and Aug. 1, family entertainment options add an important third wellness layer. A $20 SGA Super Pass saves money and gives access to everything with no hassle or waiting at entrances.

Go to SGA2015.com to register as a participant or volunteer, or purchase passes. Just don't wait too long—entry fees go up after June 1 and the final deadline is July 1. Best wishes for a fun and healthy summer!
