Three Team Hornady® members posted Top-10 finishes at the USPSA Noveske Area 2 Multi-Gun Championship on August 31, 2014. Held at the Colorado Rifle Club in Byer, Colo., the 10-stage, Level III match course of fire was designed for speed and accuracy, yet still allowed competitors to shoot the stage freestyle versus prescribed. Unusual targets included Clay Oreos, which are exclusive to the Noveske match; Clay kickers, which are thrown vertically; and IPSC targets painted as Lightning Rods. Team Hornady® was not intimidated.

Patrick Kelley finished second in the Limited Division shooting Hornady® 223 Rem 55-grain Steel Match® in his rifle. "This load gives me confidence to shoot first round hits to 400+ yards," he said. "It is soft enough for high speed work on those up close and personal stages."

Dianna Muller was runner up in the Tactical Ladies Division shooting Hornady® 75-grain Steel Match® in her rifle and Hornady® 9mm 124-grain RN in her pistol. Muller said, "Hornady 75-grain Steel Match provided flawless accuracy throughout the entire match for those tight no-shoots and small targets."

Ryan Muller, the newest member to Team Hornady® had an impressive run, finishing seventh in Tactical Optics Division from a field of 76. Muller shot Hornady® 223 Rem 55-grain FMJ in his rifle, and Hornady® 124-grain FMJ RN reloads in his pistol. "I've used and loved Hornady products throughout my years as a hunter and competitive shooter," said Muller. "Hornady reliability is unsurpassable."

Hornady® would also like to congratulate Team Hornady® Top 10 finishers at the inaugural Trijicon World Shooting Championship, September 10 - 13, 2014 at Peacemaker National Training Center in Gerrardstown, W. Va. Showcasing their incredible shooting abilities, Jerry Miculek (shown above) finished in third place, Dianna Muller was runner up in the Ladies category, Patrick Kelley finished sixth and Ryan Muller rounded out the top 10 spot.

Many of the top shooters in the country were drawn to the four day match and faced 12 stages representing various shooting disciplines: F-class Rifle stage, Long Range, Bullseye, Cowboy Action, Bianchi Cup, Small bore, 5-Stand, Trap, 3-Gun, IDPA, USPSA and PRS Tactical 2 Gun all using equal firearms and ammo.
