JP Rocky Mtn 3-Gun World Championship

Team Hornady® relied on the accuracy of Hornady® ammo to deliver winning results at the 2014 JP Rocky Mountain 3-Gun World Championship. Drawing 300 competitors from the United States and 11 countries, the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, N.M. was a hot place to be August 5-10, 2014.

On the line for top gun was individual match division titles or the opportunity to compete for Gold, Silver or Bronze team titles. After five days, 15 stages and 464 targets, Team Hornady® members helped represent Team USA and dominated the field of competition with first and second place results. Hornady® Manufacturing congratulates the following team members and their shooting success on the range:

Jerry Miculek (shown above) won the Open Division for the third time in his career, and finished in first place as a member of Team USA 1 shooting Hornady® 75-grain Steel Match® factory loads in his rifle and Hornady® 9mm 115-grain HAP® reloaded bullets in his pistol.

Kelly Neal's runner-up Law Enforcement and sixth place finish in the Open Division topped off his second place finish as a Team USA 2 member. Neal shot Hornady® 125-grain HAP® hand loaded bullets in his .38 Super pistol and Hornady® 223 Rem 75-grain Steel Match® in his rifle.

Dave Neth won Law Enforcement and placed 10th overall in the Limited Scope Division. Representing Team USA 1, Neth shot Hornady® 223 Rem 75-grain BTHP Match™ in his rifle and Hornady® 115 HAP™ Steel Match® in his 9mm pistol.

Dianna (Liedorff) Muller finished second High Lady in the Limited Scope Division shooting Hornady® 124-grain FMJ RN reloaded bullets in her 9mm pistol and Hornady® 223 Rem 75 grain BTHP Steel Match® ammo.

Tate Moots won the LE Eddie Rhodes Memorial Trophy for the fourth time in his career. He was also runner up in He-Man Scope Division and took first place as a Team USA 1 member. Moots shot Hornady® 308 Win 155-grain BTHP Steel Match® in his rifle and Hornady® 230-grain FMJ RN in his pistol.

Jared Milinazzo took second place among tough competition in Limited Scope Division.
