Team Hornady® member Kelly Neal won the 2012 Arizona Police & Fire Games 3-Gun Match, April 15, 2012, at the Tucson Rifle Club in Arizona. Enjoying his fifth win, Neal won the Overall and Optic Division shooting Hornady handloaded 55 grain Z-Max™ bullets in his rifle, and Hornady 9mm 125 grain HAP® bullets in his pistol. All five stages demanded total concentration and accuracy as many no-shoot targets were presented to the active and retired Law Enforcement and Military competitors who participated.

"I chose Z-Max™ bullets as the match was a short range affair and they're super accurate," said Neal. "I shot Hornady 125 grain HAP® (in my pistol) because they are consistently the most accurate bullet I have ever used."

Other Team Hornady® members competed at the 2012 DPMS USPSA Multi-Gun National Championship in Las Vegas, winning two national titles. Held at the Desert Sportsman Club, competitors engaged 12 stages, shooting rifle, shotgun and pistol. Match Director Carl Schmidt oversaw a course of fire for 160 competitors from 25 states, with targets ranging from two to 380 yards. Standard steel targets, a Texas star with clay pigeons, LaRue metal plates, and MGM reactive targets were used.

Katie Harris won her second High Lady National title, shooting Hornady 223 Rem 75 grain Steel Match® in her rifle. Harris added, "Hornady 75 grain Steel Match® is great ammo for close range, and delivers terrific performance from my rifle." Harris shot Hornady 124 grain round nose bullets "because, they're amazing bullets and they shoot the best out of my pistol."

Rob Romero won the Heavy Metal Limited Division, shooting Hornady 308 150 grain FMJ in his rifle for the close range targets, Hornady 155 A-MAX® for long shots, and Hornady 45 auto 230 grain FMJ RN in his pistol. Barry Dueck finished second in the Heavy Metal Tactical Division, shooting Hornady 308 Win 168 A-MAX® match ammo in his rifle, and Hornady 45 caliber 230 grain HAP® bullets in his pistol. Barry said, "I shoot Hornady because it never fails to consistently achieve top-notch accuracy."

Michael Voigt finished second in the Open Division, shooting Hornady 75 grain Match™ and 55 grain TAP® in his 223 Rem rifle, and Hornady 125 HAP® bullets in his 9mm pistol. "As always, Hornady ammo performed flawlessly and accurately," he said.
