Hornady® Adds Randy Luth to Team Hornady

Grand Island, NE — Hornady® is proud to announce that industry legend Randy Luth has been added as a sponsored shooter to Team Hornady.

Randy Luth, a trailblazer in the firearms industry, has built a distinguished career spanning more than four decades. As founder of DPMS/Panther Arms in 1986, Luth transformed the company into one of the nation’s leading firearms manufacturers. He later served as President of DPMS/Panther Arms under the Freedom Group, helping to shape the AR-platform market. In 2014, he launched Luth-AR, LLC, where he continues to lead as CEO and President and currently holds 9 firearm related patents.

Randy has competed in 3-gun competitions for 25 years, recording multiple podium finishes at national level matches.  

An accomplished hunter and sportsman, Luth has achieved remarkable milestones such as the North American 29 Species, the Grand Slam of Sheep and Turkey, and Africa’s Dangerous 7. His commitment to excellence, both in business and the field, cements his reputation as a leader, innovator, and advocate for shooting sports and wildlife conservation.

Luth currently resides in Minnesota with his family. Aside from action shooting sports, Luth enjoys trap, skeet, and sporting clay shooting along with golf, skiing, boating, and snowmobiling.
