Hornady® Shooters Excel at Hornady Precision Rifle Challenge PRS Match
Grand Island, NE — Hornady® congratulates sponsored shooters Doug Koenig and Joe Thielen for their performance at the Hornady Precision Rifle Challenge, June 28-29, 2024, near Evanston, Wyoming.
Koenig took first place in the Production Division using Hornady 6mm 110 gr. A-Tip® Match bullets and Hornady Assistant Director of Engineering, Joe Thielen, took first place in the Tactical Division using Hornady 30 Cal. 176 gr. A-Tip® Match bullets.
“The Hornady PRC is one of the toughest matches in the country year after year,” said Thielen. “Shooting A-Tip Match bullet gives me the competitive advantage in a stacked field of competitors. No other bullet on the market handles the wind like the A-Tip Match,” he added.
A-Tip® Match bullets feature an aluminum tip that’s precision machined and longer than polymer tips, that moves the center of gravity and enhances inflight stability, resulting in tighter groups and reduced drag variability. In addition, A-Tip bullets are sequentially packaged for the ultimate in consistent performance.
