Hornady® Announces ISO 9001 Certification

Grand Island, NE — Hornady® is proud to announce they have achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for Quality Management Systems (QMS) from the Systems Certification Body (SCB) for their ammunition production facility.

“One of the keys to success here at Hornady is a commitment to strong quality control” said Matt Spencer, Hornady Compliance Director. “By implementing ISO quality principles, any potential customers can quickly identify that we have put in the effort to ensure we are producing the finest quality products” he added.

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognized standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS). It is the most widely used QMS standard in the world, with over 1.1 million certificates issued to organizations in 178 countries. In simple terms, ISO 9001 certification provides the basis for effective processes and effective people to deliver an effective product or service time after time.
