Full Boar^® named Ammo of the Year

Grand Island, NE – Hornady® Full Boar® ammunition has been voted Best Ammunition of the Year by readers of France’s largest hunting magazine, Connaissance de la Chasse (Knowledge of Hunting).

This is the second year in a row that Hornady® ammunition has topped the vote of French hunters. In 2017, Precision Hunter® factory-loaded ammunition with the ELD-X® all-range bullet was honored as Ammunition of the Year.

Available in a variety of popular calibers, Full Boar® has become the ammunition of choice for French outdoorsmen and women not only for boar hunting but also for a variety of the toughest game. French hunters choose Full Boar®, loaded with copper-alloy GMX® or MonoFlex® bullets, for its deep penetration, 95% weight retention and uniform, controlled expansion.

In addition, Full Boar® utilizes the highest quality powder, cases and primers and propellants matched to each load for optimal pressure, velocity, volume and consistency. French hunters who shoot ARs and other semi-automatics prefer Full Boar® for its excellent fit, feed and function.
