SnapSafe® Announces New Products for 2017

Grand Island, NE — SnapSafe®, the company that revolutionized the firearm storage industry with its unique modular gun safes, has announced its new products for 2017. TrekLite™ Lock Boxes

Key lock – Item No. 75212; TSA Combination Lock - Item No. 75241

These lightweight, impact-resistant lock boxes offer the security of a steel box but at a third of the weight. Their compact size (10 x 7 x 2”) and 1.6 lb weight makes them ideal for storing handguns, medications, passports, and other valuables while traveling or at home. The TrekLite™ Lock Box is constructed of extremely tough polycarbonate—similar to what is used in football helmets, car bumpers, and windshields. It easily fits in a suitcase, drawer, or under a car seat. Its protective foam lining prevents valuables from becoming marred. Included is a 1500 lb. rated security cable with a patented cable connector that doesn't encroach on cargo space.

The TrekLite™ Lock Box is available in two models: one with a key lock and the other with a programmable 4-digit TSA-approved combination lock for optimum security. TSA-approved locks allow TSA screeners to inspect luggage without damaging the locks. Plus, they're 10 times harder to crack than 3-digit locks.

Super Titan XXL Double Door Safe

Offering all the security of a conventional welded safe, but is easy-to-assemble and move anywhere piece by piece. The SnapSafe® modular assembly system locks the walls together from the inside and only requires a socket wrench for assembly (included with each shipment).

Eight live-locking bolts and a non-breech seal on the hinge side of the door provide professional grade protection not found in most residential safes. Once closed and locked, the safe cannot be disassembled from the outside.

A heavy steel deadbolt runs the entire length of the hinge-side of the door. Once locked, the door cannot be removed, even if the hinges are cut off. The EMP lock offers electronic or mechanical opening operation, utilizing a 6-digit push button access code for everyday use, or 3-wheel spin dial access.

The safe can be configured to fit a variety of needs. Each safe comes with one full shelf, one full gun rack (capacity for 56 long guns), two half shelves and a divided shelf.

The double door entry makes access easy, with a 52"H x 37"W opening. Exterior dimensions are 53"H x 41"W x 26"D.

SnapSafe® Modular Gun Cabinet

This gun cabinet with patent-pending modular design ships flat and is easy to assemble with the included instructions and all the necessary hardware. No additional tools are needed. It measures 52.8"H x 17.8"W x 12.0"D and holds up to five rifles and features a removable shelf for storing ammunition, handguns, and other valuables. Exterior walls are constructed of durable 20-gauge steel with a protective powder coat finish and the door can be hinged on the left or right side.

SnapSafe® 2-Gun Keypad Vault

With its programmable 2 to 4-digit keypad lock, this compact SnapSafe®
2-Gun Keypad Vault offers optimum security for handguns and valuables and easily fits on a desk or shelf. Its spring-loaded door opens quickly and is ideal for storing two handguns or other valuables. Constructed of 16-gauge steel, it has a protective foam liner to safeguard contents from damage. It comes with pre-drilled holes for easy mounting and requires one 9-volt battery (not included). When the battery is running low, an audio alert and LED visual warning light are activated. Backup override key is included.

SnapSafe® Drop Box™ Keypad Vault

The SnapSafe® Drop Box™ Keypad Vault easily mounts under a counter or desk, or on the side of a nightstand, to keep your handgun close, secure, and ready to spring into action. A programmable 2 to 4-digit keypad code provides optimum security and it is constructed of 16-gauge steel for exceptional durability. Features include a fast-action, tamper resistant drop-down door and protective foam lining to safeguard contents from damage. Mounting hardware has pre-drilled anchor holes for easy installation and can be installed on the left or right. It requires one 9-volt battery (not included) and has features audio/visual low-battery alerts. A backup override key is also included.

TSA Padlocks

These all-metal TSA-approved padlocks with 4-digit combination represent a major step up from traditional TSA travel padlocks. They feature beefed up steel bodies, a larger case, and hardened shackle. TSA-approved locks allow screeners to inspect luggage without damaging the locks. Plus, they're 10 times harder to crack than 3-digit locks. Packaged in sets of two.

Rechargeable Gun Safe Dehumidifiers

These compact dehumidifiers absorb humidity and prevent rust or mildew in gun safes, closets, pantries and other enclosed areas. Moisture-control crystals change from orange to green, indicating when the unit needs recharging. Dry out and recharge the crystals by plugging into 110V electrical outlet until crystals turn orange again.
