Big Wins for Team Hornady at the 2015 Surefire Multi-Gun Championships

Hornady Manufacturing, a world leader in bullet, ammunition, and reloading tools congratulates the performances of Team Hornady members at the Surefire Multi-Gun Championships held October 27-31, 2015 at the Pro Gun Club in Boulder City, Nevada.

All styles of multi-gun and 3-gun competition came together in 16 grueling stages. Shooters competed in a variety of stages including, speed, open terrain, and two night stages. There was a great mix of designs that really tested all facets of a shooter's skillset.

Keith Garcia led the Tactical Division and placed first overall. Garcia counted on the dependability of the Hornady 223 55 gr. FMJ/BT bullets for all targets out to 200 yards, "This load is extremely accurate and soft shooting," said Garcia.

Team Hornady members Travis Gibson and son, Wyatt Gibson, also placed at the Surefire Multi-Gun Championships. Wyatt placed second overall and won the Open Division. Travis Gibson placed fourth overall and second in the Open Division.

Travis used the Hornady 9mm 115 gr. FMJ ammunition for all pistol shots with the exception of the MGM Spinner target. "For this target, the extra speed and mass of the Hornady 9mm 124 gr. XTP bullets really helped get the target going," said Gibson.
