The employees of Hornady® Manufacturing are among the most hard-working and productive people in the industry. But their hearts are every bit as big as their work ethic. Hornady® staff members recently donated $3,670 to Make-A-Wish® Nebraska.

Make-A-Wish® is a nonprofit organization dedicated to granting wishes that make life better for children with life-threatening medical conditions. Children must be between the ages of 2½ and 18, with medical conditions that are progressive, degenerative or malignant.

"We are so proud of our employees for taking the initiative to make our community a better place to live," said Steve Hornady, President of Hornady Manufacturing. "It is a pleasure to see them support Make-A-Wish, which does so much for kids who are dealing with serious health issues."

Hannah Stone, Vice President of the Make-A-Wish® satellite office in Kearney, Nebr. said donations are crucial for driving the organization's mission. "It is gratifying to see people take an active role in improving the life of a child," said Stone. "We currently have 10 children in the Grand Island area on our wish list. The generosity of Hornady employees will help to make some of those wishes come true."

The Hornady® donation will stay in Grand Island to help kids like Anna, a 14-year-old heart transplant patient who wants to go to the Grammy Awards, or Annastatia, a 14-year-old being treated for Ewing's sarcoma, who longs to visit Belize.
