Golden Moose Award

Hornady® Manufacturing, presenting sponsor of the Outdoor Channel's "Hornady Presents Dark and Dangerous with Ivan Carter," is pleased to congratulate Safari Classics Productions and Ivan Carter on winning a 2013 Golden Moose Award during an event held at the 2014 SHOT Show in Las Vegas.

The Golden Moose Awards represent the best in outdoor television, and honor Outdoor Channel's talent and production teams for their entertainment contributions in 2013, in over 20 categories.

"Hornady Presents Dark and Dangerous with Ivan Carter," received the Golden Moose Award in the Best General Interest Show category. The popular program is a theme-based series dedicated to the pursuit of Africa's "Big Seven" from the perspective of professional hunter, Ivan Carter.

"We're excited to work with the team at Safari Classics Productions and Ivan Carter," said Neil Davies, Marketing Director at Hornady® Manufacturing. "Ivan Carter's stance on hunting as a means of conservation matches our company philosophy, and we're pleased that his efforts are recognized by this award."

Ivan Carter, considered to be one of the world's foremost experts on the African elephant, is dedicated to conservation through hunting, which he believes gives species monetary value, and in turn supports the habitats that secure their future. Carter also views hunting as creating financial viability for areas where Africa's "Big Seven" can be found.
