Hornady® Manufacturing, a world-renowned leader in ballistic technology located in Grand Island, Nebr., is sponsoring a series of reloading clinics on Thursday, February 6, 2014, during the Safari Club International convention in Las Vegas, Nev. The clinics will include intro and advanced reloading techniques, as well as an introductory class on ballistics.

World-renowned big game hunter and wildlife conservationist, Ivan Carter, will be on hand during the Advanced Reloading Clinic, February 6, 2014 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., giving attendees a unique insight into the big bore reloading tips and techniques used by professionals. An internationally acclaimed photographer, educator, and supporter of elephant management through hunting, Carter has a long list of accomplishments in all aspects of big game hunting. He is the host of the popular "Tracks Across Africa" and "Hornady's Dark & Dangerous" television programs.

Clinic Schedule/Descriptions
Hornady®-sponsored clinics will take place Thursday, February 6, 2014 in the Lagoon Room F on the second level of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. The schedule includes:

Intro to Reloading Clinic, 9:30-11:00 a.m., discusses basic rifle and pistol reloading techniques.
Advanced Reloading Clinic Featuring Ivan Carter, 12:30-2:00 p.m., focuses on big bores and advanced techniques.
Intro to Ballistics Clinic, 2:30-4:00 p.m., explains the inner workings of ammunition from ignition in the chamber through the terminal effects of the bullet.
The clinics are free-of-charge, but participant space is available on a first-come first-served basis.
