Grand Island, Nebr. - "Candidate Z – The Republic Rises" is the mantra as zombie hunters are called to the 2016 Zombies in the Heartland 3-Gun Match. The zombie match will take place June 2-5, 2016, at the Heartland Public Shooting Park in Grand Island, Nebraska. There will be a special industry day and reception for all sponsors on June 2.
Hornady® is the presenting sponsor of the fifth annual 3-gun event. Sponsorships are currently being solicited, with Thursday, June 2 devoted exclusively to a sponsor-only shoot and reception.
Shooter registration will begin April 4, 2016 with a live link posted to the Zombies in the Heartland website between 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm CST.
In its fifth year, this popular match will feature 10 competitive stages and multiple side match stages. Shooters will find new and reactive zombie targets developed specifically for this match. Competitors will be required to compete with a pistol, rifle, and shotgun.
“We created this match to be fun for shooters of all skill levels and experience,” said Jeremy Millard, Zombie Match Director. With a fun, challenging course of fire, Zombies in the Heartland 2016 promises to attract shooters from all over the country. “Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just a beginner, you will enjoy Zombies in the Heartland and I encourage everyone to join us!” Millard added.
