Team Hornady® demonstrated the superior power of Hornady® ammo in all courses of fire, by scoring impressive wins during several April matches.
FIRST UP: THE FNH USA 3-GUN NATION PRO SERIES
The FNH USA 3-Gun Nation Pro Series kicked off at the Peacemaker National Training Center in Glengary, West Virginia on April 13, 2013. Reigning 3-Gun Nation Champion, Keith Garcia, finished in second place, and Adam Popplewell finished third. Dianna Liedorff and Maggie Reese finished in third and fourth place in the inaugural Ladies Pro Series.
Garcia shot Hornady® Superformance 53 grain V-MAX™ 223 Rem in his rifle, and Hornady® 115 grain XTP® 9mm in his pistol. "The key to this match was delivering fast and accurate shots while being on the move. Both loads were extremely accurate with light recoil," said Garcia.
Popplewell shot Hornady® 9mm 124 grain XTP®, and Hornady® 55 grain 223 Rem FMJ ammunition. "This match was fast running and gunning," he said, "and Hornady® 55 grain rifle ammo was a perfect choice."
Patrick Kelly, 3-Gun Nation expert analyst described the match's tense atmosphere. "The drive to push the limits of speed while maintaining accuracy puts tremendous pressure on shooters to perform as close to 100% as possible," he said. "It doesn't get edgier than that."

The Best of the West Shooting Range in Liberty Hill, Texas welcomed 400 shooters from 24 states to the 2013 Surefire Texas Multi-gun Championships, April 19-21, 2013. This year's match theme honored the sacrifices of servicemen and women who served in Vietnam, as well as the competitive passion that drive the growth of multi-gun competition.
In a match that featured 12 stages with static clays, steel poppers, cardboard silhouettes and reactive targets set from one to 615 yards, Team Hornady® posted strong performances in three divisions.
Michael Voigt won the Open division for the third time, shooting Hornady® 75 grain Match™, and 55 grain TAP® in his 223 Rem rifle, and Hornady® 125 grain HAP® bullets in his 9mm pistol.
