Grand Island, NE – Hornady Manufacturing – a world leader in bullet, ammunition, and reloading tools congratulates the performances of Geoff Nemnich and Dustin Patterson on winning the 2015 World Championship Coyote Calling Contest, December 5, 2015 in Arizona.
Over 60 teams competed with hopes to take home the trophy, however, back-to-back Champion, Nemnich and teammate Patterson ended up with the victory. The duo harvested 17 coyotes over two days on 100 percent public land.
Nemnich and Patterson relied on the accuracy and reliability of the Hornady 223 Rem 53 gr. V-MAX Superformance Varmint ammunition to take down the coyotes, "Hornady ammunition performed flawlessly" said Nemnich.
Nemnich and Patterson found pockets of coyotes that were responding fast to the call. This forced them into a run-and-gun strategy to cover as much ground as possible, "It's always a good time when the coyotes are coming to call hard and the Hornady bullets are flying straight!" Nemnich added.
Eagar to take the crown next year, Nemnich and Patterson will return to Arizona for the final time to defend their title before the event moves locations.
