Hornady celebrates two victories at the 2011 Shooting Industry Masters. Hornady Manufacturing received the Academy of Excellence award for Manufacturer of the Year, as well as the Ammunition of the Year award for Superformance Varmint Ammunition.

"Hornady has now been recognized for eight consecutive years for our innovation in ammunition and this is the first time we have been recognized as the Manufacturer of the Year. The awards were presented in conjunction with the Firearms Marketing Group's (FMG) Shooting Industry Masters event, July 22-23, 2011 at the Rock Castle Shooting Center in Park City, Kentucky, with the awards ceremony held in neighboring Bowling Green. Highly sought after within the shooting sports industry, Academy of Excellence awards embody exceptional design, innovation, and service in a wide variety of categories.
